IT Project Manager

As a Project Manager at Kaplan you will work with leading marketing technology solutions in the Nordics.
You will be a part of our Marketing Technology department (today 25 people; Backend Developers, Frontend Developers, Solution Architects and System Specialists) and create relevant costumer journeys and experiences daily.

As a Project Manager we expect you to have a broad technical understanding, technical background, strong communication skills and a consulting focus. It is important for us that you grasp the entire technical landscape, to understand how the customer’s system will be used to achieve high quality in customer communication. We expect you to have an extensive experience in customer management as well as CRM.

All our projects are unique and adapted to the customer’s situation and goals. They range from designing and optimizing data-driven communication across many digital channels to content distribution for personalized experiences. We are a team of developers, strategy consultants, creatives and analysts and lead technical projects where we work with the best tools in the business; Adobe Experience Cloud and Salesforce for market automation, Tableau for visualisation and inRiver for PIM. Most of the time, we work from our office on Sturegatan in Stockholm and sometimes from the client’s office.

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for anything from pre studies and development projects to new implementations covering multiple, complex systems and platforms. In your role you will have many responsibilities, some of which could be: managing both internal project resources and resources on the customer’s side and creating technical development plans. You are also expected to use your competence and experience to contribute to commercial questions on the customer side.

The role
  • You will, together with the customer team, collaboratively develop and execute strategic plans for our clients
  • Analysis of business challenges, define, propose and help implement agreed solutions in tandem with the client
  • Coach and lead the team and other co-workers
  • Conduct creative workshops and presentations
  • Independently plan and execute less extensive projects
  • BSc or MSc in Engineering or other relevant advanced degree
  • At least 5 years of experience working as a project leader, consultant or in a relevant position in a client organization
  • Fluent in the Swedish and English language
  • Experience in leading and coaching Developers in the implementation of projects
  • Preferable experience from CRM, e- commerce, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Salesforce etc.
  • Consultative mindset – you enjoy working close to clients, you look forward to solving their challenges, and you can think on your feet – former consulting experience is an advantage
  • Strong personal drive and commitment with a solution-oriented mind-set
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to adapt to different market and customer challenges
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
